Some things are simple: drawing strong and empowered women makes me feel strong and empowered.

Of course, other things in life are not as simple. Each of these pieces represent a renaissance of personal growth, a confrontation of fear, a response to the pressures of daily life or cultural expectations, and sometimes– a simple observation of beauty and strength.

My work is heavily influenced by painter Alphonse Mucha and the Art Nouveau period. I also gather my inspiration from pop culture, contemporary design, the mystical wonders of folklore, mythology and magic, and most importantly, our innate connection with nature.
